Our family started overlanding in April. When we decided this was something we all liked, I did some mods to our 03 suburban. While it does a great job it is a little long. So I have been looking at some of the shorter full size 4 door suv's. About a month ago a series 2a 5 door 109 station wagon caught my eye. I knew it was a rover but that was it. So I started researching and watching videos and listening to podcasts. Then I found out about Oxford. Well needless to say I am hooked. I am not in a spot to buy anything right now but this time next year I will be retiring and will be ready to buy something at that time. I believe I will look for a Disco 2 to get started. Then I will take my time and look for a 2a 109 station wagon 5 door. So here I am learning everything I can from all of you. Thank you for allowing me to join!
