I just wanted to say hi. My name is AJ. I am 15 and about to get my drivers permit. I have decided on the 1998-2000 Range Rover. I really like the styling of the RR and I think it has one of the nicest interiors in its class. Anyway what are the pros and cons of this SUV. By the way great site.

so anyway what are they pros and cons beside gas milage

 

Pro's - Best 4x4 in the world, gives the best ride, very comfortable, has an air of class no other 4x4 even comes close too, even the ones built back int he 1970's still have the feeling of been above all over 4x4's. They are easy to work on with plenty of add on parts available, (if you know where to look) lots of cheap spares, (again, if you know where to look)

Con's - Can be very expensive to repair in a garage, high insurance costs, high running costs generally, and can break down a lot if maintanence has been neglegeted at any point in it's life.

 

of course those cons can be applied to any vehicle.

 

I have a job too, whats that susposed to mean, I was just wondering if you know what a 2000 RR was going for, cause if your in school sitll and working part time times will be hard for you lil man. RR+insurance on a minor in a RR+repairs=A **** Load of Cash!
