Hey guys as of yesterday I am the new owner of a 2002 Disco with about 70K on the clock. After alot of lurking I guess now is as good a time as ever to join up and learn as much as possible. Ive never owned a Rover or any 4wd for that matter, but due to procreation I had to get rid of my tiny sports car and a van just wasnt a option. I traded in my 2002 Camaro Z28 which was my pride and joy, ive pretty much had my hands on everythng on that car. Im no super mechanic but im pretty good with my hands and tools.
Ive had the Disco less that 48 hours and have already had to mess with her a little. Sofar ive repaired the passenger side fog light (cracked case flled with water) replaced some vacume hose and installed new U-joints to servicable ones. And other small odds and ends, and curently getting some new leather to re wrap the hand break boot. Anyway im looking forward to learning all I can and getting to know some fellow rovers.
