Default Hello from Knoxville

Hello everyone. Brand new to the forum and to Land Rovers in general.

Got nailed on the interstate in my '13 Pilot EX-L (family cruiser) in just the right spot to crack the shock tower and the insured's insurance company is going to end up totaling it after 2.5 months in the shop.

I have a thing for boxy looking vehicles and have stumbled upon Disco 2s. I'm here to learn more and hopefully buy a well-maintained enthusiast-owned version in the future. I am aware from just my brief reading thus far, that I am somehow signing up to be a masochist from an automotive standpoint by going this direction...!

The random username is one I used to have over at Bimmerforums (my first car was a 95 BMW 318is, then a 78 320is that was a project I never got off the ground with young kids). I use it across vehicle forums to show I'm not a spammer/idiot
