Default Hello from Missouri

I just bought my first Land Rover, a 2003 Discovery 2 with 112,000 miles. It is missing the front bumper cover and needs the hood painted as it has a white hood (Java Black on vehicle) and had minor front damage from a deer collision. I plan to make a weekend wheeler / ice cream getter out of it. Already ordered the coil pack relocation kit and coils. It runs well but sets code P0302 and other cylinder misfires again after clearing them. Everything but the sunroofs works as intended. No rust, and interior is nice. I'm looking at a 2.5" spacer lift, 255/70/18 tires and perhaps a winch bumper to ward off having to find a bumper cover for an 03 which appears to be like hens teeth. Any advice on the lift and other mods will be greatly appreciated. This is a great forum.

Welcome to the forums!

I would suggest you troubleshoot the misfire codes. I was just reading a post a few days ago where someone ignored the misfire codes because it ran smooth until it eventually devolves into a rough idle and stalling out. The Discovery 2 section on here can help a lot with any questions you have.

I've been gathering "stuff". Most of it has arrived. Waiting on the new coil packs and wires from Kingsborne. I have manifold gaskets, valve cover gaskets, coil relocation from Gerry Cortez, 2.5" lift spacers, tie rod end, NGK Iridium plugs, and 92 chevy s-10 power steering pump on hand. Got a warm shop and a 3 day weekend coming up.
