Hello new LR enthusiast here in Northern New Jersey.
Looking to buy a Disovery II and doing homework before purchase.
Any recommendations on which years are best to look for and helpful hints much appreciated.

 

At this point, find a truck that isn't rusted out or one that doesn't have rust that will soon get worse. Are you going to have this as your daily driver or as a secondary vehicle? I would guess any from your area are likely to have rust issues. Back to your question though, one that has no rust (or very little if any) and stack of service records if possible. If at all possible, get a Pre Purchase Inspection done before you buy one. Are you any good with tools or general mechanics?
