Thumbs up Hello from the state of Idaho!

Hey there fellow Rover fans! I am SO excited to have finally brought home a Discovery after researching and peeping this forum for months. I'm also glad to see there is still some activity on this forum. It makes it so much more fun to feel like you are part of a community with shared experiences and shared vehicles.

I had been watching multiple Discoverys on the local Facebook marketplace and Craigslist come and go over the last few months. Then I saw a series 1 get posted that looked like it had been well taken care of but also had some experiences and was well used. Two days later (tonight) I met up with the fella and we made the deal. She's got 175k miles, smells like she burns some oil, but seems to run great. I wish it still had the original stereo, but the upgraded one does have Bluetooth ability so that is handy. Steering seemed a little loose cruising home on the freeway, as the steering wheel could roam from 10 to 2 while remaining in the same lane.

Looking forward to the adventures we'll definitely have and the memories to be created!
