Default Help!

HI everyone

Im trying to make it as an author and setting my book in the UK. I want to use Land Rover Defender 110s as main transport for the main character and have a quick question.
What 'shortened names' do you have for your Land Rover? Im guessing Landy is one of them, but is a Landy a truck, a motor....? To keep putting Land Rover is a bit clunky and I'd really like to get a feel of your wy of referencing your vehice.
coud give it a name I suppose!

Thanks everyoe

P

Not sure you can 'lock-up' a colloquialism or nick-name tbh. Not going to use it as a title; just wondering if people have other short forms of the name??
Thanx anyway.
