Found this forum at the top of a Google search! I figured if it popped up first, it must be good! I came here seeking help with an issue I am having with my battery. Did a search and found some answers already!

Me? I'm a wife and mother on my second Land Rover vehicle. Between the first one, a 1996 Discovery and the second one, a 2010 Range Rover Supercharged, I have had a Nissan Xterra, a BMW 330i, a BMW X3 and 2 Ford Expedition Limited. I miss the people and cargo room of my Ford, but wouldn't trade the luxury of the Range Rover for anything!

My screen name is the same one I use on every forum I belong to. I love Alabama sports, specifically football (I graduated from there in 1991) and I am a Disney freak. Haha. Random. I know. I work part-time as an attorney for juveniles and spend the rest of my time carting my children to their various activities. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Anyway, that's me! Looking forward to learning how to save lots of money servicing this vehicle for CHEAP and with better parts. Not that I don't love the customer service at the LR dealer, I just despise the inflated prices! I know--I own a Range Rover and I'm cheap. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one! haha!

Welcome to LRF....I had an 2007 Xterra and a 2004 BMW 330i between a beater 1996 Mazda MX6 and my 2013 RRSHELUX.....I miss the roomy feel of the Xterra but if I wanted space I would have bought a friggin semi truck.

I wanted luxury since I had moved up professionally and wanted to get the best.....and boy this feels great!

 

I gotta tell ya, I am jealous that you have a 2013 RR!! I needed the extra space that the bigger RR offers so the Sport wasn't an option and neither was the "brand new" pricetag. Maybe in a couple of years I can afford a brand new one! haha!

The biggest mistake I ever made in my car ownership history was trading in that '96 Discovery II for the Xterra. What a downgrade! I hated it and quickly traded UP to the BMW 330i. I LOVED that car but with two small children, I had to get something bigger. The X3 foot the bill! It's funny how you cycle through bigger and bigger vehicles once your children start growing up. Then, as they get to driving age, we can cycle back down!

I am pretty sure I won't drive anything but a RR from here on out. I grew up with parents who drove European cars so my tastes from a young age were expensive and luxurious. Now that I am that person, the only other car I would consider would be another BMW--7 series this time! Ha!

 

But I am jealous that you are driving a Supercharged......500 horses are enviable! You have the open roads to drive that too in Bama.....

 

Wish i could afford one of those, lol, i got my 98 with the puny 190 hp and horrible gas millage. But welcome to the LR family once again.

Retired and moved to the Eastern Shore six months ago. Just sold my 08 Jeep 4Dr Wrangler and replaced it with a 2003 Disco. I have had Land Cruisers and a bunch of other 4 wheelers but this is the first LR. Roll Tide!!
