Hey!
New to Land Rovers, and honestly to anything not lowered! Decided to pick up something roomier to haul the kids around, but we wanted it to be fun as well, so I picked up a '03 Disco II with what I was told was a blown head gasket, but I decided to just have Elias from Rover Restorations install a rebuilt engine so we could start fresh.
I also have a CDL setup with '04 shifter on its way, and I'll probably be upgrading the front driveshaft soon as well, although I need to double-check the existing one as it may have already been done.
Anyway, it seems like a very fun truck so far, so I look forward to getting it dirty!

Welcome. Look at a scanner or Ultra Gauge to see live data, like coolant temp. The oem dash gauge shows 50% from 130-240F. You might like a little better picture of what is going on. Hope the replacement engine is one that has the top hat style flanged cylinder liners.
