hello im from West Ky and this is my first land rover i bought a 2000 Disco 2 about 3 months ago there are a total of 4 in my town lol i love it have been a auto tech for about 5 years for ford motor company and on my own farm equipment and atv, boats for years. have to say this forum has helped a ton. As far as the truck goes im 3rd owner it has 107,000 just had to fix the front cover it was leaking coolant and the throttle pre heater was leaking.
Future advancements i plan on: CDL shifter install, Tru-Trac diff lockers, snorkel, safri roof rack, old man emu 1.5"-2" lift coils and Rancho es 9000 shocks,front bumper updrage to the steel with brush gard and winch. Boy thats a long list once you get it down.
But to dinish it off a good set of aff road tires anyways love the truck mine is the SE so no sunroofs or air suspension but great would like top find a rover group near by to do some expidtion typ off roading most folks around here drive jeeps and just mud...
