What to look for in a 1998-2001:

1998-1999 = Series I - Mechanical Problems, Some electrickery.

1999-2001 = Series II - Claimed Electrickery. Mechanical Problems

Down Sides:

Poor(Worst)years of the discovery in terms of build and fit.

The value will go down.

Set aside a hefty budget to fix what the P.O. forgot or pushed aside.

Set aside a hefty budget to fix things L.R. forgot or pushed aside.

Set aside a hefty budget to modify things forgot or pushed aside.

Set aside a hefty budget to keep your vehicle from being forgot or pushed aside. Because you will fall in love with it.

Hilarious, and so true. If DiscoMike's 60K service list doesn't keep you busy, what you said will!

Based on the info I've seen '04 is the best. Of course I have an '03, luckily I'm out of the bad oil pump TSB VIN range... I think...
