Hi all, just bought a 2007 LR3 with a dead 4.0 liter V6, going to pick it up next weekend (trailer) and bring it home for a complete engine rebuild or replacement. Hope to learn lots on this forum, will post a picture once it is here.

Finally in our garage, will start working on it in a few days!
Between $1.5 and $2K, hopefully a Ford Explorer engine will sorta kinda fit and run, guess I'm going to find out how closely they are related...
