Just bought a 2003 Discovery SE7 this past weekend. It's my wife's 'dream vehicle,' and a VRCSV (Vintage Race Car Support Vehicle) for me. Looking forward to kitting it out and joining the fun.
This isn't my first 4x4 - I've owned a 1980 Jeep CJ7 and a 1989 Toyota Land Cruiser, so I'm interested in seeing how the Discovery compares.

Welcome. Download the RAVE set of factoy shop and owner manuals at links below. Investigate your front prop shaft to determine if it has multiple grease fittings, stock shaft did not and can fail will little warning, and poke hole in transmission. Don't trust the temp gauge - it is designed to point at 50%. Use your scanner or an Ultra Gauge to read accurate temps. We have a list of 60k miles service items, time to get busy. Read thru our tech section, things on oil, jumbo filters, etc.
