Default Hi Every One

Hi everyone

Well I have been a member for a couple weeks but I just haven’t been able to post this yet. I am Assyrian and speak Aramaic. Assyrians are an ethnic group whose origins lie in the Fertile Crescent & their homeland today in Northern Iraq. Assyrians are considered to be one of the indigenous people and Christians of the Middle East. Assyrians are also known as the decedents of Babylonians, people of cuneiform, hanging gardens, Eye for an Eye and more.

I am 26 years old and I was born & raised in Chicago. I am thankful to be a business owner. I purchased a land Rover Discovery II SE7 about 2 years ago. I went to the dealership one day and was determined to purchase a vehicle just so I could get rid of my old vehicle. I really wasn’t looking for a Land Rover and thought the Discovery was ugly. I eventually purchased the Discovery because I had no other choice at the time and was determined not to go home with my old car. Over time I fell in love with my Disco and now wouldn’t get rid of it for the world. I have been gradually learning about Land Rover and have become a great fan.

Will post Pictures of my beautiful babe as soon as I get my camera back.

Hi Alexan! I too, am new to the forum. I just purchased a 01 Discovery this past weekend. (Been eyeballing it for a month.) My baby needs a bit of work-- seal in the crankshaft needs replaced and also a required maintainence. The husband thought I had lost my mind when I said I found a Land Rover. I know now, that he's just jealous. > I hope that I have a good experience-- absolutely love driving it!

Default Welcome

Hi Alexan, I have a 1999 Range Rover 4.0SE. I also am new to the forum, I had always wanted a range rover since i was about the age of 6, My fathers best friend at the time had bought one brand new, and i was amazed at its beauty, even covered in mud and grime. The one i bought was owned by a good family friend and I was always taken by how much time he spent keeping it clean, and up to perfection. So welcome to the forum. Cant wait to see your pictures!

-Alex
