Hi guys and gals

New to the group! Proud owner of a 2002 Disco 2. Called Myrtle.. named because when I bought him I was reading a book about a WW2 Raf Spitfire Squadron. When they deployed to Europe their first airfield was just.. well a field!! They turned it into an operational RAF forward operating base. To help with this.. the squadron.. well.. ‘got hold of’ a horse to help pull a trailer to aid in construction.. the horse was named ‘Myrtle’ and was very very well looked after!!!

Did have a 1983 90 defender 3.5 V8 back in the early 90s but stupidly sold it!!

Taken the Disco up to the Lakes where I slept in him 2 nights and wild camped for 2 nights.

First job he needs doing is noisy power steering system.. But other than that he has a great engine. Plan on taking the seat 6 and 7 out and flogging then as I do not need them for what I will be using him for.
