Default Hi everyone

Thanks to everyone on the forum, I have been searching through all of the posts to try and help me fix a 2002 model Disco 2. The car originally was in the SF area and then came back to England in 2005, now I've taken it over to France.. Looking forward to contributing in the future.

Welcome. The RAVE shop, electrical, and owner manual set is a free download below. Be sure to look at an Ultra Gauge, which can read/reset codes, plus display things like coolant temp in digital form, the dash gauge reads 50% from about 130 to 240F. Front prop shaft if still oem will have sealed grease fittings on one end, which can snap with little warning and thrash a hole in transmission. Rebuild in for in our tech area, or re-fit with after market and keep greasing it.

Waht concerns do you have with the truck now?

Default Thanks for the replies

Thanks guys for making me feel welcome.

Savannah Buzz, I downloaded the Rave manual, that is a fantastic reference and very needed!! I have bought a hawkeye diagnostic tool as the forums seemed to say that was good, i hope it does what I need it to do....

I have a long list of jobs to do on the car as it has been standing for a few months,
The gearbox is very lazy in going into 4th gear, suspect low oil
SRS light is on suspect passenge side seat belt tensioner
Passenger seat does not raise, fuses ok but I havent checked the wires yet
Fuel gauge has a mind of its own so I have bought a new fuel pump and sender unit, a job for a weekend when its a bit warmer!
Fuel vent hose!! I cannot put more than a few litres of petrol in if the tank is not empty, after reading the forum I suspect the vent line is blocked
Remove the radio as it doesnt work to check the fused on the back!

It sounds like the car is a wreck but it is really a nice car, it just needs some TLC and then the wife to go and thrash it through the field :-)

Thanks to everyone for the help
