I was close to buying a 2006 LR3 HSE V8, but ended up with another Jeep Grand Cherokee. I drive the older one and its getting up there in mileage, so I'd be looking at an LR3 in a later model year as a replacement.

I joined to get inspired, hopefully learn the follies and joys of ownership and of course customization for offroad adventuring. I used to collect Land Rover Magazine from Great Britain at one point and love the stories and pics from all over the world. At the time the new Defender or the Camel Trophy Disco would have been my must haves if I could afford them.

I have mechanical background and experiences (gearhead stuff) so hopefully I can contribute something worthy.
