Question Hi Guys, I'm J. It's great to be a member of such knowledgeable dudes.

As I said My name is Jason and I have a 2001 Disco II, 113,000 miles. About a year ago I had to have an engine coil replaced, as well as a mass air sensor. The truck is acting the same way, It's missing very badly and I've been reading a lot of posts, looking for alternate problems. I've found a few interesting posts reguarding, seafoam, plugs and wires, etc.. I was wandering if I buy a diagnostic tool will it tell me the problem. I'm not a mech. by any means and would appreciate any help given. Sorry for the stupid question and again it's good to meet all of you.

Do you have a check engine light on? If so take it to your local auto-zone, pepboys ect... and have a free code scan. Once you have the code post them here or search for them on the forum (very good chance you'll come up with the definitions). Welcome!

Thumbs up Thanks, Bloody,

I was just pricing the diagnostic tools on amazon, I didn't know those places would do that for you. I appreciate the info and thanks for the welcome. Good to be here.
