Just found this forum and thought i'd introduce myself. Live in WV for two more weeks, and then i'm moving to Baton Rouge. Have driven 4x4s ever since i graduated seminary. Started with a Montero, then a K5 Blazer, followed by an xTerra, and then a Trailblazer XLT (needed a third row for a third car seat). Got hit by a drunk driver in '09, left me with a broken neck (now recovered) and a totaled Chevy. When i could drive again, i went looking for a new FJ Cruiser, but that was then Toyo had idled the plants and couldn't find one. Stumbled onto the local LR dealership looking for a used one and instead ended up with an '06 LR3 SE. Great price and incredible service from the dealer following the sale. Took it in a bit later for brakes (which they fixed for free) and while they were working on it, the owner took me out to lunch in one of the LR4s that had just arrived. I was afraid i'd get the 4 envy, but i actually like my 3 better. It's not as fancy and glitzy, and i like it.

It's all still pretty much stock, except for the tires. Went with Cooper Zeon's 285/60/18. Am adding the trailer hitch now in prep for the move. Would someday love a rack and a tire carrier. When i replace the donut spare, i won't be able to fit the full-size underneath, at least from what i've read.
