Howdy From Central Texas ('72 S-III)
Hello All,
I cannot believe how long it has taken me to look for and join this forum.
I picked up my '72 SIII 88" almost 4 years ago after a year long search for one that spoke to me. I convinced one of my old high school buddies (that I had not seen in years) to do a road trip from Central Texas to Colorado and back. Happy note: We're still friends! Life took an unexpected series of twists and turns almost immediately after my new four wheeled friend arrived. So now, it's about time that I break out the toolset and start the restoration - a mild one. No show winners for me. He (or she, i still haven't decided) will be treated with respect but also taken to places where Land Rovers were meant to be.
I look forward to getting on the road and possibly meeting some of the forum members in person.
Cheers,
Steve
