I visit this site too often and figured it's time to become a member. I have a 04 disco that I purchased about a year ago with 110k miles. Running into the normal ~100k mile replacements parts with a few surprises along the way. Looking to make this offroad ready over the next year and take it camping and to the beach.
Just curious, has anyone seen a different rooftop color compared to the body? I don't mind it at all on my disco but was wondering if anyone knows why/how this happened and if it's common.
The clearcoat has gone away on many D2 roofs that haven't been garaged by now. That's why someone painted it. If you paint it white, your AC will work a little better in summer. But white is hard to match which is probably why they went with black.
