Howdy, thinking of becoming a Rover owner.
I'm a bit of a car nut (see sig) and have always liked Land Rovers since I first saw the Range Rover in 1987.
I'm trying to accomplish several goals at once. I want to shed some debt and also want a vehicle I can use for hunting, hauling and towing.
I've realized I can sell the Cobra for just a shade more than I owe on it and can replace it with a Discovery Series II in decent shape for about half what I owe. I'll miss the Cobra terribly but letting it go is a better plan for me right now. It goes on Auto Trader tomorrow.
I originally planned to replace the Cobra with a 4x4 extended cab pickup but here in the Southeast I can get more value per dollar for a Discovery. I just worry about giving up all that hauling space and hope a cargo trailer can make up for it.
