Hey, howzit goin. I just picked up a 98 Discovery. I havnt even driven it yet. I look forward to cleaning it up, maybe add a few mods and see how it wheels. Any common problems I should look for on this truck? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks

Welcome to the forums. Just watch for leaks, especially coolant. You can blow a head gasket or drop a liner fast if it gets hot. Regularly inspect the driveshafts and make sure all of your fluids are changed and you should be good!.

 

Welcome Josh! I have a 98 Disco as well! In the past year, I've had to replace the battery, fuel pump, lifters, oil pump and this past weekend, the main bearings. Good thingwe can do most of the work ourselves!! She oughta last a few hundred more miles now. I'm getting readyto replace the factory installed radio! Again, wecome!
