i want to buy a freelander
hi im new to all this stuff so i dont really know how it works but i got some questions and wonder if any body can help me.
i am thinking about buying a freelander but i dont know much about them im looking at used vehicles but i see that they depriciate alot
know the reason why i want that model is because im looking for a mid size svu n i realy like the freelander so i guess that i need to know what im i looking for in them and is it a good choise of suv

If you are in the US stay far far away from the Freelanders. The engine/transmission combo available here is notorious for problems, like completely trashed engines.

Freelanders have lots of issues that can be extremely costly.If your in the market for lr I agree with Cam.A D1 or D2 is a better vehicle and if your mechanically inclined a much better investment.Just search this site and ask ?'s and you should get the info you need to make a good purchase.Good luck
thank you all i will take you all in concideration. and my next question will be how hard is it to work on a d1 or d2 im really handy with vihecles i worked at a garage for a while and my uncle wich is the one that helps me when i hit a bump is a gm master mechanic and i just got raid of my jeep witch i did all my own work to it will i be able to work on it my self? please excuse my spelling english is a hard language to learn.lol
