Default I'm back

I had a '99 Discovery, sold it around '03/'04 when it approached 100,000miles, (shouldn't have, it was still perfect) have missed it many times and haven't been back here since.

So, I ran across a decent '03 SE7 for sale a week or so ago, needs an ARB bumper (completely stock) but otherwise was tempting enough that I laid down my cash and drove it home. A few hundred miles in its saddle and I am happy to be back in a Disco.

Not planning to spend much time off-road, mostly have it for errands and hauling things, has more character than most new vehicles and there's just something about Land Rovers.

I wish it were practical to stuff a nice Mercedes OM606 under its hood, I'm kind of anti-sparkplug, but the truck makes it worth buying gasoline I guess.

Anyway I don't even remember my old login here, or at discoweb, so I guess I'm a new user again! Great forum, will spend much otherwise useful time here rooting around.

Thanks, I think that I might even have detected **some** sincerity in that!
