Hi everyone. I've just put a deposit down on a used LR2, and expect to take delivery on Thursday. It's a 2010 with 70,000 km/46,000 miles. It's my 2nd Land Rover. The first was a 2002 freelander, which was a joy to drive but had so many problems it wasn't economical to keep.

I'm in the Middle East, working, and looking forward to driving what seems to be a great small SUV. I don't expect to go off road much initially, as we have a young baby and I'm pretty busy otherwise, but maybe in a year or so when the baby is older we'll go exploring.

I'll be back occasionally to ask for advice and read other people's contributions. Have a good one.

Hey I'm new too! I used to have a Defender and really starting to miss it so thinking about leasing one from Central Contracts as they are so expensive to purchase out right! The amount of diesel I will need may be really expensive though :/
