Smile I'm new to the site, and am crazy about My Range Rovers

Hi all,

I'm new to the site, and have never blogged before so a lot to learn.

I am fortunate enough to own three Range Rovers, and love them all. I have bought them all new and simply kept them. Regular services, quality parts, and TLC and thankfully I have been rewarded with great experiences. I do most of my own work on them because I enjoy it.

94 Range Rover Classic LWB.
06 Range Rover HSE 4.4
16 Range Rover Sport 5.0 Supercharged Autobiography Dynamic.

My 94 is amazing still. At 280,000km I replaced the tired motor with a factory new 4.6. Had Mark at Tornado Developments re chip the ECU, had the heads and intakes polished, replaced all bolts with ARP studs, Ford Motorsport Injectors, shortened intake horns, bored out intake plenum, 4.6 MAF, stainless steel performance cats, Borla SS exhaust system, K&N cone filter. She has way more power than stock and I'm getting over 20 mpg. The brakes are all Brembo with ventilated cross drilled rotors. Other than that the truck is still in its original Beluga Black paint, the Russett Brown leather is still in perfect condition, everything works including the air suspension. I did replace the headliner and have always replaced or repaired things as soon as there was signs of trouble. Polly bushings sorted out the chassis. She has never let me down. Never been out in a winter, so no rust, but it's time to get her painted, just 23 years of chips, scratches, and door dings from parking lots and it's getting a little tired. She still looks great at 20'. Lastly I found a great stereo specialist that refurbishes the factory radios. He adds Bluetooth, aux, and USB. They look amazing with only the Auxilary port added to the face and allow you to keep the factory amps, sub, and cd changers. Replaced the speakers with new ones, and opened the sub box and replaced the sub woofer inside and closed it back up. Now I have my iPod connected, Bluetooth, and she sounds amazing and is still stock. Way better than trying to fit after market.

The 06 is completely original, no issues, regular services, quality synthetic oils, and again no winters. My back up camera just failed and I have ordered a new camera so that should fix it. This one is black with tan interior and still looks like new.

The 16 is new, only had her 7 months. Had it reprogrammed from Paramount Performance, smaller supercharger pully, Quick Silver exhaust, and K&N filters. On the brake side I replaced all rotors with vented cross drilled just to keep them cooler and I run EBC pads. This one is Santorini Black.

So I love all LR's, and would love to hear from like minded people with tips, ideas, and good stories. I've been playing with my Classic since new and I feel I know that model very well.

Best wishes and looking forward to chatting with other crazy fools like me.

Don't know if we really call it 'blogging' on here lol but blog away if you should feel so inclined I realize our greeting is a tad on the late side.. it's summer and everyone is scattered in different directions. Gets a little more exciting in the winter when no one wants to work on anything Welcome to the forum - we're happy to see you here!

If you want to get into deep conversations regarding tuning, ECUs, heads and tired motors, post up ideas and questions in the forum for your respective Rover (accessed by clicking on 'forums' in the upper left hand corner and then vehicle line-up, etc.). Welcome again and hope to see you around!
