I'm new, very new
First, hello to all. I'm Bob and live in NC. I've been involved in vehicles all of my life but this past July I bought my first Rover. Now I have to learn what to do with it. My first ambitions are to improve performance/economy. No, I don't want a race truck, I want the best performance from my vehicle through a chip? exhaust? intake? filters? etc.... This is where I look for your help. I do have an extensive background so no hand holding should be needed maybe just point to the ideas and help me with what you know. Anyway, I'm glad to meet all of you!
first thing that would help us out is what kind of Rover it is, what year? is it stock? still in warranty? do you live close to a rover dealership, if not, i would wait till warranty is over. trust me, closest dealer to me is 300 miles east to FORT WORTH, 300 Miles North to Amarillo, 300 West to EL PASO and 350 Southeast to SAN ANTONE! i live in midland, Ford dealership changes my oil, lol
Thanls for the reply.
The vehicle is a 97 HSE Vitesse with a 4.6. No warranty is in question and I just turned 90k. So far everything seems to be working fine, knock on my wooden head. I live close enough to a dealer, and I bought the vehicle from the Rover Club House in Durham. I love the people there and I'm sure they will help me tons but I am also trying to learn what I can on my own through forums like this. Thanks
