I guess the fates wanted me to have a Defender. Long story short, my MB 450GLS decided to grenade its engine (@5000 miles) and I needed a replacement now, not in 4 months or whatever lead time it would take. My sales guy found me this Defender with 3000 miles on it, pretty much zero options, so I thought any port in a storm. So far it’s great, the key fob has been fussy and it has weeped fluid from the headlight washers, and I can’t read the dipstick 😁 but otherwise all good.
It will be used as a dog hauler, hunting rig, and for some road trips. Thanks for any insight, I know car forums are ahead of the curve and frequently ahead of the dealerships.
