hello everyone!!
i am brand new to this forum. i live in alhambra, calif. and i am the owner of a 1997 landrover discovery. i really, really love this vehicle but it is super expensive to maintain when things go wrong.
here is what is going on today with this car. when you turn the key to start the car the only thing that happens is a kind of zipping sound and nothing else. you cannot get the car to start up to drive or anything. i have posed this question to certain folks that know this and that about cars and i either get that perhaps it isthe starter or maybe a piece broke off of the flywheel.
the electrical all works so it is not electrical.
any ideas??
