After 20 years of selling Jeep parts, restoring a 61 ***** Wagon, a 59 M38a1 and finally a 91 Cherokee, a friend came to me and offered me his 96 D1 for $600 with 160,00 miles! How could I refuse!! So now I've got this bad "sickness" where all I can think about is going for a ride...

I'm in central Utah so the "road" supply is endless and I do love the ride of this Discovery. The PO has taken this one through Hells Revenge and Poison Spider in Moab (with sway bars disconnected). I haven't really pushed it yet, but I can already see that I wasted alot of time with Jeeps! Truly an amazing vehicle.

Mechanically in excellent condition, (the PO's son-in-law is a lead mechanic at a Salt Lake area Rover dealership) the only things to fix are visor clips, seat switches, rear window ECU repair, etc - minor stuff.

I currently work at a NAPA store here, but previously did GM and Jeep dealership parts for 20 years. My wife and I are freaks for "amateur archaeology" and rock hunting, so we will be out and about regularly.
