Hi Guys!

Ok, I am about to start a project here in Boise, Idaho with two 1996 Land Rover Discos and I know I'm going to need advice.
My standard tranny is going out and the interior is shot so I found an automatic with nice interior...so you guessed it, I want to take the motor from my standard and plug it into the auto.

I know this is the welcome post, I just wanted to give you a background here. I will post topic later when I actually start the work...soon

This is my third Land Rover. Two '96s and a '95 and I've even owned an '88 Range Rover. Wish I still had that one.

Anyway, I look forward to talking to all of you and helping when I can. I've done my fair share of electrical issues and wrench turning on these things. I know I can to this engine swap, but I know I'll have questions.
