Just bought my 1st. '02 Disco 2. Kalahari
It's not even here yet, as my brother in law is bringing it down with him for Christmas (Bought online).
I have owned a few European cars, and I am curious as to what I should be expecting as I know that they are not problem free. I have seen a decent amount about coolant issues, drive shaft (U joint), lock, and window motors, and alternators. But what's the rest, and what can I do to avoid catastrophe.

Change front prop shaft or rebuild, stock will split and poke hole in tranny.
Put in a new battery, buy an Ultra Gauge for beter monitoring, the factory heat gauge is not very good. Download the RAVE set of shop manuals. Stands for Rovers A'int Very Economical.
