Default Just saying hello

I bought a discovery 2 a month ago for 1500 with a slipped sleeve runs and drives just pushes coolant on occasion and failed an exhaust gas coolant test. Have been trolling your posts ever since and figured I'd join. I ordered a GEMS block complete will have top hats put in shortly. I serviced the vehicle and scored a cdl conversion out of a 1996 disco 1 for 45 local yard price. What else should I look out for? I went over the vehicle and serviced EVERYTHING. I figure since there are others more knowledgeable I would inquire. I have access to full scanners and programming capability. Thank you in advance

Default gems to bosch

Yeah I'm just using the long block from the GEMS supposed to be better metallurgy. Probably gonna get rid of the injection, intake, manifolds everything off the GEMS if somebody needs em.
