Default Just saying hi!

Hi , ive been a BMW fan since i can remember ... They re great agile cars and very fun to drive (but a little less to work on ) . For suv my heart has always belonged to the Land Rovers and lately ive been watching wayyyyy too many offroading videos for my own good ! So i finally decided to join the forum so i can learn as much before i begin my journey. I have a 2 summer cars and a small suv/family hauler. But i would love to setup a nice discovery offroader , there s something about that square look that i love sooooooo much! Looking forward to interacting with u guys online and maybe in a field one day but im faaaaaar away in canada lol. And i havent seen any Lr around here much , the biggest community here is Jeep.

Welcome. Plenty can be found on Craigslist, look carefully before purchase, and read up in our tech section every write up. A D1 can be had at under $2k, you'll have to do some wrenching. One member bought a D2 with 117 garage kept miles and oem gasoline for $2000 from an eccentric owner. The rest of us got something inbetween.
