Landy nut from Down Under says G'Day!
Howdy all,
DOn't know how I didn't trip over this forum before. Looks like some great info and resources so will likely be dropping in regularly to check things out.
I hang out with a few other landy freaks here in Oz as well as a handful of yet-to-be-converted 4WD enthusiasts.
We try to get out amongst the rough stuff at least once a month and generally try and record the action and post it on youtube.
If you want a sneak peak at what we get up to, drop in here:

Welcome, you mates must be putting on the sun block this time of year. Some good Rover sites based for OZ as well on the web. Here you can get a free download of the RAVE tech manuals, please note that NAS is how Rover made them for the US/Canadian market, so manual usually tells you that.
10L/100kms
(or 23.5mpg according to google calculator!)
That's normally a combination of city/highway driving. I'm pretty happy with that, although I've never done a comparison to other TDI300's... Any idea if that's good?
Worst I've done was about 12.5L/100k (18.8mpg) with:
5 people on board
back cargo bay full to the roof
full length roof rack half a metre high with camping gear
a few hours of low range craziness
a few hours highway driving
Totally worth the bad milage.
