Longtime Mercedes-Benz owner switching over to Land Rover
Hey everyone!
My name is Dave and I live in Boston, MA USA. I am a longtime Mercedes-Benz owner, I’ve leased and owned these cars from when I was 16 years old to now (29 years old). My current car is a 2014 S550 sedan which I own outright and love. It’s my 5th MB car and after doing extensive research, I’ve decided to sell it and move on to a new Land Rover Defender. I absolutely fell in love with the new model Defender after watching hundreds of YouTube vids and test driving the car in person. I’ve always wanted a large truck/SUV, and I’m not a big fan of current MB models, and really don’t want to drop close to $200K for a new G-Wagen.
So I officially ordered a new ‘21 LR Defender X-Dynamic HSE at Land Rover/Jaguar in Peabody MA. They just told me yesterday that my order will likely be a ‘22 mode with a delivery date in mid June. I’m so excited and plan on taking this car on many road trips and off road trails!
It’s somewhat bittersweet leaving a brand that I know and love and have been loyal to for over 12 years, but I’m super excited to be a new member of the LR family, and hopefully continue to buy their products if this car meets my expectations over the next few years!
