Bought new 2010 which now has 32,000 miles. Still makes me smile when I drive it! But it continues to break my heart. Issues

• 4 times it would not start due to electrical issues yet to be fixed. The brake pad becomes unable to push down and will not start. Issue clears up after time (minutes, hours or days). BRUTAL
• Eats up tires after 25,000-30,000 miles.
• New rear brakes at 30k
• Brake squeals that never goes away.

Love the styling, heritage and all that. However my LR4 can not be trusted after the warranty period and thus will go down river. Will look into the Jeep Diesel due in October.

 

Also forgot to add

Replaced fuel injector at 28k
Check engine light issues unresolved


Other than that flawless!! LOL

 

dude. lemon law that thing. If they cant fix an issue under warranty and you have complained about it 3-4 times. You can have the vehicle bought back under lemon law. They have to fix it. End of story. Call LR-USA.

 

yeah, unacceptable. go dolomite on them. they need to put you in the loaner until issues are corrected one way or another. i had a dodge that was lemon in '06. it happens. i still get a little nauseated at the sight of that goat emblem.
