Default Lurker introduction

Hi all, time to introduce myself

January 2024 I picked up a 2011 LR4 which had overheated and warped the heads before purchase. Took about 3 months to remove heads, have them machined and new valve train installed & reassembled (along with all new cooling pipes, timing chains etc). All done, running well, what more could I ask for?

Until.... 2 weeks ago I get a message from the previous owner of the LR4... selling his sister in law's 2010 LR4. Glutton for punishment that I evidently became - I purchased it as well and now have a 2010 added to the fleet.

The 2010 has more bells and whistles than the 2011 however it has a EPB error I'm in the process of diagnosing. Already replaced the switch but code hasn't changed. I'm thinking wiring
code U2002-92 (2B) Switch general electrical failure - Component failure - performance or incorrect operation
I'll be digging into the wiring harness after the weather warms up - and I return from a upcoming overland week in the Mojave mid Feb (in the 2011)

Well, that's a bit of land rover story
