Hello all, just took the plunge and bought my first Land Rover, a 2000 Disco 2 with 71K. As I was expecting after reading everyone's posts, straight to the shop it went. And ALOT of money later it's ready. I was expecting that so I am not too upset. I took it to Jim at Integrity Auto in Minooka, I had no idea how hard ti would be to find someone trained on Land Rovers that was an independent. Can't wait to get it going and play a little dress up with it. Any pointers and tips on customizing it into a great off roader would be appreciated. It is not going to be my everyday road truck, but it will still be on road. I would like to get a Off Road bumper and guard. I have got a line on a used Brownchurch roof rack. Thanks.
