Default New 2000 disco II owner

Hey all, just wanted to introduce myself as I'm sure I'm going to be posting more often. I just bought my first Land Rover about a month ago, a 2000 Disco II with a little over 100k and some tasteful mods already on it and a decent mechanical history.

It's got a CDL from an 04, 2" TF lift, front/rear bumpers and sliders, riding on 31" wrangler duratracs on 16" steelies. Previous owner painted it a slightly lighter color of orange than the G4 edition. Like I said, it also had a good deal of mechanical work done on it, including head gaskets replaced ~20k ago along with the oil pan gasket and intake manifold gasket, among others.

Going to be going through the "major service" list of preventative maintenance items soon here, starting with upgrading the brakes and steering components, as well as upgrading to a serviceable front driveshaft. Any suggestions in those areas are welcome!

Anyway, here's a couple pics. Haven't got any trail pics yet, soon though..

Very nice!

Looking forward to seeing more of it, and some gettingsome better details about the previous build components.

Brian.
