Just picked up my 2008 LR3 with 31,000 miles this week and wanted to thank everyone on the board since I have been reviewing the posts on the site to help make my final decision. Loving the car so far.

Looking in to the extended warranties since I do not want to be stuck with any significant costs down the road (manufacturers warranty runs out in August of this year) and have been looking at the Ford ESP PremiumCare warranty since the warranty available at the dealers is a little pricey and the Ford ESP seems to cover the major concern areas and the $100 deductible is manageable. If anyone has any experience with this warranty or recommendation for others please let me know. Checked the sticky in the LR3 section which has been helpful.

Also, although I hope not to be in a service shop until the next suggested service interval (dealer performed a 140 point inspection and the 30,000 mile service before listing for sale) I am looking for any recommendations for a reputable independent service center that has experience with Land Rovers. I will most likely take it to the dealer but would prefer to give my business to a local mechanic if a good reputable service shop is in the area.
