Default New to the board

Greetings. New member - looking at buying a 96 Range Rover very soon, thought I would register and ask some questions. Hope to have one to talk about in a week or two.

Thank you for the warm welcome. Since the seller is taking it for a state inspection and emissions test prior to the sale, I asked if I could have the inspection mechanic also provide me with a report on the vehicle's condition while it was there. Seems like it's all lining up for a sale. I did spend about an hour on my own looking over the vehicle.

I have many years of experience working on my own cars - currently a Jaguar X type, Saab 9-3 turbo, and a lifted Jeep ZJ with all kinds of off road goodies (my hobby is off roading). I used to work for a Jeep dealer's shop in my younger days, so I am familiar with the mechanics of a vehicle. I've done everything from engine swaps to ground up restorations.

This forum however has provided some great info on this particular model, for which I am thankful.
