New but very old
Hi all,
Looking forward to hearing the problems and solution for Discovery II. I got mine 2 years ago as part of my retirement plan (to pull a 26 ft caravan around Europe). I chose a Disco II as I worked with the Landrover design team in both Solihull and Gaydon on the active roll control (Tempest chassis - now known as ACE on Discovery II), engine build cleanliness (fuel and oil galleries in head and block) and the fuel system (Storm engine - now known as TD5). If anyone has any questions about the fuel filter in the back wheel arch or the LCF at the back of the head I think I might be able to help. I have just retired from the company that designed these filters and as technical support manager I also represented the UK on the ISO standards committees for Fuel, lube, air and crankcase ventilation devices.
