Like the title says, I'm brand new to the Land Rover thing. I've had a thing for Rovers for a long time and have talked myself out of buying several. Just picked up a 97 Disco I with 150k miles. It has an OME 2" lift and I just received a set of Tread Wright 245/75R16's that'll go on this week. After looking at a TON of Disco's, this one had a few more miles than some, but was in faaaaar better shape with a service history. So far, I'm very impressed and can't wait to adventure travel a bit with it. I'll start a build thread when there's something to show.

Welcome to the forum, mrwizard! '96 owner here. Mine is one of the higher mileage ones, but still trucking along. It's cool that yours already has the lift. I'm planning on doing that and am looking into the OME kit. Let me know how yours drives. I'm looking forward to reading about and seeing pics on your build.
