Hey everyone just picked up my first Land Rover, got a Disco 1 and I coulnd't be happier. I'm the second owner its a 98 SE with 108k. Im loving everthing about this truck, can't wait for it to snow and to test its off road capabilities.

make sur eto check out the d1 tech help section and do a major maitenance on it to get it up to speed! welcome to the madness!

 

And download the free set of all factory manuals, called the RAVE, see below. You'll be wanting a 27 mm deepwell impact socket and a cheater bar..... lots of people get rid of the stainless covered nuts for straight steel ones like on some older Range Rovers. Some of mine were so beat up you have to hammer the socket on to them.
