Welcome. Check out our tech section for lots of DIY repairs to get busy on, download the factory shop and owner manuals (called the RAVE, link below); and do not let that temp gauge go over mid point without checking things out.... IMHO overheating starts a little before midpoint.
I had the distinct pleasure one day of taking pictures with a pro camera at the Jacksonville Landing waterfront area, when it was autograph day for the Jaguars. The new cheerleaders were introduced, and then came down from the stage where I was standing. They thought I was the PR guy to take their pix, so for about a minute I was surrounded up close and personal by an entire NFL cheerleading squad. That can cause overheating as well
