Default new guy (noob?)

New to the site, but not to the cars that bring us all here. Grandfather had a Land Rover Series III then Defender, father had a RR. I am now in the market for a vehicle as close to what my grandfather had, at least what is in my memory of him. Looking at a 1966 Land Rover Series IIa. Have located one in a far off land (in what appears to be impeccable condition, fully original aside from alternator and radio put in, one owner) so hope to find reliable advice on how to have a vehicle safely shipped to the US. Anyways, look forward to all the posts, and advice as my habit (or hobby) grows. As soon as I pull the trigger, will post pics.

Cheers,
JR

you can find series rovers on this side of the pond. just remember shipping will be around $2,000 and then you have to pay tax on your purchase. try using searchtempest.com to search all of craigslist for your older rover needs.
