Thumbs up New here but not new to Land Rover

Hi Folks,

I have just signed up here. I am a long-time LR fan but i am only on my second LR product. My first was a 2016 LR Discovery Landmark edition which i had from 6-months old and kept for nearly 5 years. It was epic. Went everywhere, did everything, and was never, ever troubled. I have just swapped it for a new 2021 Range Rover Sport with eht D300 engine. So far thrilled with it. Its a very different drive. Less comfy than the Disco but less wallowy too so a better handling car. While the Disco was without fault, the RRS has a couple of issues.

I have posted about my issues to a current thread but as a newb i think my reply to the thread has to be moderated before being posted for the rest of you to see. Perhaps this one will go the same way.

Anyway, Hi!

Welcome. There are some RR folks here who can chime in hopefully. With it being such a new vehicle it should be covered under warranty right? Hopefully that will solve most of the issues.

thanks. Yes indeed warranty will cover if necessary. But I’d rather troubleshoot and understand the rattle issue myself if I can. Because it’s a cold start issue one only gets about 3 mins per day to investigate so it could be a multi-day endeavour for a dealer. Far better to resolve at home if possible.

Thx for the welcome guys.

Does anyone know what these pipes are for in the back of the engine bay?

I don't recall what it connects to. But i also wondered if it may be an AC pipe.
